Ashley is extremely gifted when it comes to the actual staging and has a knack to know what furniture will accentuate the best features of individual homes. It’s not just plonking modern furniture in a house and calling it staging. I have staged some truly unique homes from new construction to old homes from the 50’s and she’s nailed it every time. Back in February my 82 year old mother in law’s home had damage. My MIL has onset dementia and there was no way she could handle the scope of what needed to be done. Also, although there were others in the family, the massive undertaking fell on me. We had to act very quickly as she had many antiques and generational pieces such as paintings, rugs, and furniture to be restored, cleaned, or just stored long term. The task was overwhelming. Add in, I needed to find a way to implement repairs and design changes trying to keep as much of Mom’s home mom’s home, but not waste money where we could do some updates. Every step of the way, Mary’s team was there. They sourced experts for rugs, got furniture restored, advised on design elements, selections, and new kitchen designs. They provided movers when the neglect and attention to the house repairs over the years expanded our task at hand and we had to move Mom into independent living temporarily. They helped with the move-in of Mom’s precious family heirlooms, hanging pictures, and staging and arranging Mon’s built-ins. To say Houston Staging & Design is a full service design company with compassion, patience, and a desire to assist you with all your needs is an understatement. I could never have made it through the last 6 months without their involvement. They are a team you can trust.
